Directions
From Coronation Drive
If you are travelling from Brisbane CBD towards Toowong on Coronation Drive, turn right at Chasely Street. Follow along the street till the end and then turn left and follow the signs towards The Wesley Hospital car park.
From Lang Park
Continue along Lang Parade until you cross the Auchenflower train station. Follow the signs to The Wesley Hospital car park.
Parking
Dr Campbell’s practice is located above the car park in the Evan Thomson building. This multi storey car park is fully automated thus payment must be made prior exit at the payment machines located on Level 2 or Level 7 of the car park.
Taxi
If commuting by taxi, a suitable drop off and pick-up spot is located in front of The Wesley Medical Centre. There you will find a seating, a public telephone and a coffee shop, the Evan Thomson Building is adjacent to The Wesley Medical Centre via the pedestrian crossing.
Public Transport
Auchenflower Railway Station is a two minute walk from the hospital’s main entrance, and is on the City-to-Ipswich line. The Brisbane-Ipswich line from Auchenflower station operates approximately every 15 to 30 minutes.
All buses to The Wesley Hospital leave from George Street outside the Casino.
Please note that the ‘City Express’ buses do not stop at The Wesley Hospital.
Brisbane City Council buses also leave from outside the hospital on Coronation Drive, with buses to the City and Toowong stopping every 10 minutes.
Please note that Chasely Street is situated on a steep hill. If you are being transported by car or taxi, you can be dropped off directly at the main entrance of the Hospital at the top of the hill at Chasely Street.
The nearest CityCat stop is a two minute walk from the Wesley’s front boundary, situated on the Brisbane River, directly opposite the Regatta Hotel.
The Department of Veteran’s Affairs provides transport for veterans going to and from medical appointments. To arrange DVA transport please let our receptionist know that it is required.
Accommodation
The Wesley Accommodation Services provides accommodation in close proximity to the hospital. All units are fully equipped including tea-making facilities, refrigerators and direct dial phone. The units at Lang Parade Lodge and Auchenflower Gardens also feature kitchenettes including microwaves.
