This is to avoid the complications that can occur with synthetic grafts. Other options include minimally invasive surgery such as tape surgery (TVT, TVT O, SPARC, MONARC, ADVANCE), Open and laparoscopic burch culposuspension, autologous pubo-vaginal sling, an artificial urinary sphincter or urinary diversion.
